Dynamis (Ancient Greek: δύναμις) is a Greek philosophical concept meaning “power,” “potential,” or “ability,” and is central to the Aristotelian idea of potentiality and actuality. This is not the first work in which I have used this term. I am constantly accompanied by a sense of inexhaustible potential – something embodied in every cell of the body, in the body of every woman.
In this work, the figure rests on the spiral of her own becoming.
